HTML Validator Overview

The HTML Validator is a HTML/XHTML validation tool that corrects errors no other validation resource we know of is currently correcting. Most validation services only tell you in some "cryptic language" what is wrong with your web page leaving you to figure out what to do to correct those problems.

Not only will this tool validate your web page and report the errors found, but it will also make every attempt possible to automatically correct these errors for you! This said, no other HTML validation tool we know of has considered search engines for their validation process.

The HTML Validator tool below will automatically upgrade older HTML to HTML5 when possible and will correctly install missing HTML DOCTYPE declarations, titles and meta tags into your HTML/XHTML source code for you! Using this tool will NOT alter your live website making this tool 100% safe for anyone to use.

 Tool Tip...

What is a URL?

The term URL is an abbreviation for "Uniform Resource Locator" also known as a web page address. For example:

A valid URL must begin with "http://" or "https://" (for secure pages). Spaces in URLs MUST be changed to "%20".

The User-Agent string is often used for content negotiation. For example, the User-Agent string might be used by a web server to choose variants based on the known capabilities of a particular version of client software. If the default User-Agent does not return the results you expect, try changing this option.

Validate Errors?

Set this to "YES" if you would like to validate server error pages (ie, 404 Page Not Found).
